Last week, the Oklahoma Business Professionals of America (BPA) State Executive Council joined student leaders from six other Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) at CareerTech University—a multi-day leadership training hosted by Oklahoma CareerTech.
This annual event is a cornerstone of leadership development, bringing together the best and brightest from across the state to collaborate, learn, and prepare for the year ahead.
Throughout the training, our BPA officers engaged in interactive workshops focused on communication, team building, time management, and goal setting. These sessions not only strengthened their leadership skills but also helped them build strong connections with their fellow CTSO leaders.
But the week wasn’t just about personal growth—it was also about planning for a successful year for Oklahoma BPA. The State Executive Council spent time developing key initiatives for the 2025-26 school year, including:
Setting ambitious membership goals to grow BPA’s impact across Oklahoma
Establishing fundraising targets to support member scholarships and leadership opportunities
Designing a statewide social media plan to keep members informed and engaged
Strategizing impactful conferences and events, including our Fall Leadership Conference and State Leadership Conference
These student leaders are already hard at work, and their energy and dedication promise an incredible year ahead for Oklahoma BPA. Their experience at CareerTech University has equipped them with the tools and vision needed to lead with confidence, creativity, and purpose.
We are proud of our State Executive Council and excited for the year of innovation, inclusion, and inspiration they are planning for our members.
Stay tuned as we continue to share their journey and celebrate the great things happening across Oklahoma BPA!
